Who We Are

Niall Fox graduated from Queens University, Belfast in 2002 after studying Law with Politics. He subsequently qualified as a solicitor in 2006 achieving a distinction in the post graduate Solicitors course at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Queens University, Belfast.

Since 2006, he has worked in five different law firms across several jurisdictions gaining a diverse range of experience in all areas of legal practice.

In the last ten years, he has focused his attention in the areas of criminal defence, personal injury, medical negligence, employment, business and family disputes. In 2013, he worked for TLT, a top UK firm in their professional negligence department before heading up the civil and disputes department of a top criminal firm in Northern Ireland known as Finucane Toner. There his work included some high-profile Troubles related personal injury claims, defamation cases against local and national newspapers, human rights, criminal and historical abuse cases. He has been working in the Republic of Ireland since 2017 and appearing in courts throughout Cavan, Monaghan, Longford and Dublin.

Niall is eligible to practice law in three jurisdictions and is a registered solicitor with the Law Society of Northern Ireland, Law Society of England & Wales and Law Society of the Republic of Ireland. Niall is keen on education and has in the past tutored trainee solicitors and barristers at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Belfast as well as lecturing to management accountants on the fundamentals of business law and finance at The Richard Clarke Academy.

Niall has a passion for law and strongly believes that all persons, no matter their financial means, have a right to access to justice. Niall is a regular and proactive volunteer at the FLAC-Free Legal Advice Clinics held in Cavan Citizens Information Centre once a month.

Niall is delighted to be recognised again in the Irish Law Awards with nominations in 3 categories this year.











Fun Fact: Niall scaled Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain in 2009, raising over £3500 for research into Meningitis and Septicaemia
